I managed to actually follow the colour theme this week and have been stitching up a red storm, well red and white to be precise. As I haven't had too much time to think and plan this week I figured I'd start off with something pretty straight forward so I made up with checkerboard blocks for the rainbow quilt I'm hoping to have at the end of the year.I thought they'd be together in a jiff but they actually took a good while to put together........but thinking about it it's really no wonder. Every where I turn these days the cats have already beaten me to the space!!Oscar on the ironing board

Your cats certainly know how to make themselves at home in the most uncomfortable looking of places.
I was fighting Hamlet for the pins yesterday. Wish I knew what the fascination with them is
I love the sound of a scraphappy saturday and your red and white checks! Your cat is gorgeous too!!
Great looking blocks -- so fresh and bright! Glad you had plenty of "help" in getting them all done:)
I love your red and white blocks :) I love red full stop! I may just have to do something with red and white seeing all these gorgeous blocks.
My problem isn't kitties but bunnies, LOL.. though only one of them can get up on a table.... she thinks she's a cat.
Your blocks look really good - very happy!
Your blocks are great. I like the idea of having one quilt at the end of the year from the different colors of each month.
I like these checkerboards, they will make a nice addition to your scrappy quilt.
