Goodbye Tiddles

We had some sad news today, MIL's cat, Tiddles, had to be put to sleep. He was nearly 20 years old so a very good age but I have know this cutie for the last 13 years and will miss him talking to me every night at MIL's when I'm cooking dinner.

Sorry to hear about your MIL cat, we get incredibly attached to these little furballs, don't we. I can still look at the picture of our cat,Zephyr, who died 2 yrs ago and become all soppy over it.

Anyway, to add to your to do list, which seems grow and grow like all lists (at least mine do) you have been tagged to write 7 things people don't know about you and then you get to tag 5 other people.

Oh, that is sad news. We have 2 cats and adore them and having lost 2 previously, I know it's hard when you finally say goodbye to them.

Just got back from my Cats Protection committee meeting and read your sad news. The passing of every cat leaves a massive void in our lives. I always try to focus on the great life each cat had and then think of all the cats we have yet to meet who also need our love. My last elderly cat passed in Dec 2006, he was 19 and I still expect him to come walking into the kitchen.

I'm so sorry to hear about Tiddles. Gosh, 20 years old. That's a long life for a cat.

Tiddles was a handsome fellow. I'm so sorry for your loss. It's amazing how big a void they leave in our lives when they're no longer around.
