Kitty Kats

Some of you might remember a few posts ago I dumped out my huge stash of cat fabric and took a picture. Well seeing all those yummy fabrics again gave me the urge to actually want to get on and use them.I decided to combine some cute kitty motifs with some left over thread snippets that I had from making my hand embroidered postcards that you might remember from a few posts ago too.Basically I used a plain colour background fabric and fused on some bondweb. Over that I layed the leftover fibers and a layer of sheer and free stitched across these to secure the layers. One of these is heading on it's way to Anna in return for the lovely fairy postcard that I received last week. Not sure what will happen to the others yet but I'm sure I will be able to find them good homes some day soon.

Love the kitties. Would they qualify for the FME challenge on ArtsintheMail?
