Something New

I've decided to try and teach myself something new in 2010. I've always wanted to crochet but have never gotten round to learning how.I picked up a couple of magazines from the newsagent this week, which I'm hoping will help me achieve this.
I guess only time will show whether I can figure this craft out and get any good at it. I'll be sure to keep you posted on my progress here :)

Great minds think alike, lol. I've ordered The Art of Crochet, waiting for it to be delivered. I had the previous crochet version of the other one and found the instructions very clear to follow. Have fun with it

Crochet is easy to learn...easier than knitting I think. Crocheting afghans is great this time of year because you get to curl under them while you're working on them.

Here's to learning new things in 2010!

I love crochet - it's so quick once you get the hang of it. I'm just finishing off a baby blanket I've been making the last few days. Just need to sew all the ends in. I bought the Art of Crochet yesterday too. Good luck xx

I love to crochet, I have been doing it for a long time as well. It is a fun hobby. If there is a diagram in the book that you just can't figure out, go to You Tube. They have all kinds of "how to" videos. I have been watching some recently to help me get better at my knitting.

Happy 2010!
