I hope you're not getting too bored with these updates on my blanket progress. While all my things are still in storage I don't have a variety of different things on the go which is my usual habit.
The good news is I get the keys to my new place on Friday so hopefully it won't be long before I'm settled in and can start decorating, unpacking and making the place my own. I'm sure there will be a picture or two of that on here once I'm in the swing.
But for now it's just more blanket progress I'm afraid. All my little squares have been hooked. 96 squares in all in 6 different colour combinations, you can see them all in the picture below. After all my moaning about it in the last crafty post I've actually managed to get all the ends sewn in without too much boredom too.
Next comes the joining.
The little squares are joined together to make bigger squares, then those are joined together in to even bigger squares and before you know it, voila the blanket is done ..... or at least that's how I hope it goes :) I'm thinking my next few weekends will be busy what with the moving .... and I have a day trip to London coming up too so I'll have to remind myself to get busy with this in the evenings instead, which might make a nice change from just coming home from work and flopping on the sofa!!
