Parliament

You will have spotted this picture above in my snapshot post yesterday.  For the last couple of weeks amongst other things I've been working on a batch of new owls.

After seeing the mobile I made the other week another friend asked me to make her a few for some of her family and friends as little stocking fillers for Christmas.

 She asked if I'd add some initials on to the back of a few.  That turned out to be a bit tricker than I expected but I think they turned out ok in the end.  I also added a button to each hanging ribbon just for fun.

I recently learned that a group of owls is called a Parliament.  I had a lot of fun making my colourful little parliament.  And don't forget if you fancy making your own scroll back through my mobile posts and you'll find the link to the pattern on Ravelry.
